Based on the current Golf 7 (MQB platform), the HTF Motorsport racing team and the chassis specialist KW Automotive GmbH presented the G7-RS at the automobile fair in Erfurt last month. The car is an HTF customer sports project and made its world premiere with a 440 HP Audi five-cylinder engine (based on TT RS engine). A carbon fiber / Kevlar body kit and an FIA-compliant safety cell were also installed.

Central locking connections of the BBS motorsport rims, which are equipped with racing tires from the Dunlop brand, ensure quick wheel changes in the box. Of course, all components were developed in-house. The drivers of the G7-RS, Heiko and Thomas Fulsche from HTF Motorsport, trust in a KW Competition 3A racing suspension that should also form the perfect basis for the SP8T class and the VLN endurance championship.
