After the Japanese tuner Forest International and Artisan spirits presented a body kit for the 2020 Toyota Harrier / Venza, the Kuhl-racing team is now following suit. Here, too, they have come up with something for the Harrier (ZSU / AVU 6 # W / 80) and here too the changes are quite consistent and subtle. Incidentally, the Toyota Harrier is almost unknown in this country. The new model has been available since June and it is also available again in the USA. There, however, as a Toyota Venza. The SUV is now in its fourth generation and the current variant has dynamic and modern shapes that are clearly based on the sister model Lexus RX. And the Harrier is on the platform of the current RAV4 which the current Camry also uses.

The modular principle also keeps prices stable so that the Harrier remains affordable and there is a high probability that it will sell well again. So Kuhl-racing also wants a piece of the pie. Basically, however, the decision was made not to reinvent the wheel and to create very similar components as the other Japanese tuners mentioned at the beginning. There are, however, on the Kuhl-racing vehicle no another grille. Instead, a sporty front spoiler lip on the apron, new side skirts (Kuhl-racing calls them the side step diffuser) with attachment and a sporty two-part rear apron attachment in diffuser optics with thick blue burned 116 mm tailpipes. By the way, they belong to a completely new rear silencer, which also fits without a diffuser, and are not just welded on.

For the wheelset, the decision was made for the well-known VERZ wheels of the type KCV05 / Deep Concave, which are fitted with a crystal-black rim star and highly polished beds in the 21 inch format. They fill the large wheel arches of the Harrier due to a subtle lowering (further information is missing at the moment) look perfect. The result is calm and coherent, if not extremely inventive or even new. Wouldn't customers prefer the optional ones? TRD tuning parts falls back will have to show. By the way, Kuhl-racing plans to develop further components by the end of the year. If we get more information about this, there will of course be an update for this report.
