A new star in the Lamborghini sky? What many do not know: Lamborghini once started with the production of agricultural machinery. But today we know them primarily for their sleek and extremely fast super sports cars. From the Huracan until the recently featured one Scrambled, the brand stands for luxury and performance. But in 2018, the elite group was joined by the Urus, an SUV. And now Lamborghini is drawing all the attention again with the latest 2+2 seater in crossover style: dem Pitcher Concept. A Ultra GT, as Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann calls it, who combines the pure driving pleasure of a super sports car with suitability for everyday use. Visually, it is a fusion: elements of the hybrid Revuelto meet the style of the Urus. But here the concept is turned further: The Lanzador only has two doors, but it presents itself as an elevated Gran Turismo with a 2+2 seating configuration.

If you look closely, you will also recognize the characteristic tail lights of the Revuelto and the Sian. When you enter the interior, you feel transported into the future. The design is sleek and focused. A central one Start-stop button, protected by a red cover, is reminiscent of fighter jets - true to the motto "feel like a pilot". Digitization and sustainability also go hand in hand in the Lanzador Concept. The center console is the linchpin of the infotainment system and the climate control, all ergonomically designed. And while you indulge in luxury, Lamborghini also focuses on sustainability: Merino dresses the dashboard, seats and door panels, complemented by other sustainable materials such as Nylon, recycled fibers and Carbon.
Electric, powerful and forward-looking
However, the real highlight of the Lanzador Concept is under its hood. Forget the nitros of the past, this Lambo bets on one purely electric drive. zwei electric motors, added together, come up with impressive 1.400 PS. But it's not all about raw power: a range of systems strikes the right balance between sporty dynamics and efficiency. And fans of the brand will be happy: The active aerodynamics ALA, known from the Aventador SVJ and Hurricane Performante, is also part of the Lanzador.
But we still have to be patient for a while before the electric dream becomes reality. But from 2028 the Lanzador Concept should conquer the streets and, above all, the hearts of car lovers.
