1956 Continental Mark II Restomod with 850 HP!

This stunning 2023 Continental Mark II will be available in early 1956 Restomod (known as the ultra-luxury coupe) about Barrett jackson auctioned in Scottsdale. And one can say that every detail of the vehicle has been implemented above average and in particular the fact that the unique vehicle has a completely tailor-made body, in combination with a new interior and a unique engine, leaves the viewer amazed. And there's even a mysterious celebrity autograph hidden under the trunk lid. Which? We'll get to that. The Continental was created by the Arizona-based team SIC chops set up and could also be found next to the term “Custom” in the Duden.

Painted in Dupont Toner Black with ChromaClear, the bodywork features numerous edges and shapes from end to end and both bumpers are literally custom-made. Because you definitely won't find them on any other vehicle.

And the uniqueness applies to that too chopped roof, which is 2,75 inches (6,99 cm) lower than that of the series. In addition, many details such as the door handles or the rain gutters were removed to create a special clean to achieve optics. Under the skin, the one-of-a-kind has a custom firewall, new floor pans, a Roadster Shop chassis, Corvette C6 suspension, new rocker panels and a flush mount Sports exhaust, which is embedded in the rear apron on both sides. And then there is the mentioned engine under the long hood.

Rack and pinion steering, 9-inch rear, 3,73 gears, Wilwood brakes, Colorado Custom 40-spoke rims, body chopped 2,75 inches, Ididit steering column, etc.

A Jon Kaase 520 ci Ford V8 with Kaase Boss heads is installed, which produces over 850 hp. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Chevrolet automatic transmission. And of course the interior is just as special and tailor-made as the body. Cabin highlights include Black Onyx XNUMX-way power leather seats from a Lexus, brand new Dakota Digital gauges to show key data and another one too Audio system is installed. Specifically, it is a Kicker Q-Class sound system with many new components (power amplifier, speakers, etc.).

From Colorado Custom Incidentally, the beautiful chrome-plated rims come with it wire spoke optics und auch das Steering wheel. There is also a full-sized spare wheel under the tailgate. The Mark II, first introduced at SEMA 2015, bears the signature of Mae West, a famous film actress, singer and author. She was supposedly preserved where she was during the restoration was found, namely under the trunk lid. No one knows why she was there. The car will be auctioned off at the 2023 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction January 21-29 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
