Porsche just got the brand new 911 Turbo S of the 992 generation presented and he has to show what he can do. Huge 650 PS & 800 NM torque mean an increase in performance of mighty 70 PS & 100 NM (without overboost function from the Sport Chrono Package) compared to the 991.2 predecessor. And so the 911 Turbo S mutates into the fastest 911 Turbo of all time. It only takes about 2,6 seconds for the sprint to country road speed, making it a direct competitor of the McLaren 720S. Can the turbo beat the British super sports car? The first to find out in a drag race are the guys from CarWow. They let the 3,8-liter six-cylinder engine with two turbochargers from the Turbo S with an empty weight of 1.650 kilograms compete against the McLaren 720S with a 4,0-liter bi-turbo V8. It provides 720 PS & 770 Nm of torque and only weighs 1.420 kilograms when empty. The result? Watch the video!

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
