Can you still remember the Mini Clubman S by Mac Audio remember from June 2015? The team had taken care of the club man visually, but the focus was particularly on expanding the entire sound system. Among other things, there were three computer-programmable power amplifiers including a digital sound processor, two Mac Audio STX 12 Reference subwoofers and high-quality Star X 2.16 front / rear speaker systems. And for that Tuning World Bodensee 2017 the team has set up a new project that this time based on a VW Golf 7 GTI performance has emerged. Again, there were a lot of changes on the outside and once again, the focus was clearly on the new sound system. While under the bonnet with performance-enhanced 300 PS goes to the point, a 3.500 Watt system clearly outperforms the engine performance.

Among other things, a Mac Audio Überkraft 2.16 front & rear system, 2x Mac Audio Pro Charger 130 subwoofers, 2x Mac Audio Titanium Pro 2.0 & 1x Mac Audio Titanium Pro 1.0 amplifier was installed, resulting in a whopping 3.500 W from 10 speakers for the occupants sound. And optically, the GTI is anything but standard because, for example, an Oxigin 21 Oxflow wheel set with paintwork in titanium optics in the size 8,5 × 19 inches allows the wheel arches to sit perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to lowering using KW coilover suspension variant 1 . The rims are fitted with wide Yokohama ADVAN FLEVA tires in 225/35 R 19 format and that is sorely needed. Finally, as already mentioned, there was an increase in performance from 230 PS & 350 NM to a whopping 300 PS & 450 NM, which means that the 7 Series can score with a top speed of 267km / h.

The additional performance is achieved by means of Wimmer racing technology level 2 chip tuning, modified intake paths and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Of course, the all-round advertising also makes a decisive contribution to the completely new style. It not only represents the company at the largest tuning meeting, but also optimally stages the GTI. If we get more information about the modifications to the Golf GTi, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
