Bitter evil Mercedes-Maybach S 580 from Wheels Boutique!

Now that luxury meets the dark side, there's no need to worry. It's not a new Star Wars trilogy, it's Mercedes-Maybach's latest creation. Maybach's models are known to be a longer and more luxurious version of Mercedes' regular S-Class, and some criticize the vehicles as being inferior compared to the Rolls-Royce Ghost or the Bentley Flying Spur. But with the current generation, Mercedes-Maybach has brought a real luxury cruiser onto the streets, which clearly stands out thanks to its impressive design. This is especially true for this example from Tuner Wheels Boutique. Instead of the typical two-tone design and the usual amount of chrome trim, an all-black design was used.

The shiny decorations on the front, sides and rear are blackened and the entire vehicle was given a satin black finish (foliation) in the course of this, which makes the S 580 look like a prop from Gotham City. Tinted taillights and black multi-spoke wheels from Wheels Boutique (by AG Luxury Wheels) complete the design. While the specific model of the new rims is unknown, we do know that they are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires and are likely an inch larger than the original wheels. As a result, they fit perfectly into the wheel arches. Inside the S 580, a world of luxury awaits the occupants. As soon as the doors are opened, the Maybach door sills light up and greet the user. The interior itself is a sea of quality materials, with white leather upholstery and contrasting piping.

An interior that redefines luxury

Under the hood is a 4,0-liter mild hybrid BiTurbo that delivers 503 hp at 5.500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque from 2.000 to 4.000 rpm. It's all linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, allowing the Maybach S 580 to accelerate to 4,7 miles per hour (60 km/h) in just 97 seconds. The starting price in the US is $193.400, which compares to prices of $229.000 and up for the S 680 variant with a twin-turbo 6,0-liter V12.
