Mercedes-Benz E500 Convertible with 550PS by VÄTH Tuning

News from the team around the German tuner Väth. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of Väth is a modified Mercedes-Benz E500 (E 500) convertible. After the tuner took care of the Mercedes-Benz E 500 V50RS Limousine (same engine) he has now taken care of the open version. We are familiar with a few details for tuning the Mercedes-Benz E500 Convertible. We have listed what we have learned in a small summary below for you.

These are the details we know:

  • Base: Mercedes E 500 Convertible (W207)
  • V50RS tuning kit (from 1.890 euros, for smaller models from 1.250 euros)
  • Vmax increase to 300 km / h
  • in-house charge air cooling system
  • VÄTH rear silencer sports exhaust system (stainless steel with flap control, two oval tailpipes each 115 x 85 mm - 4.629,10 euros)
  • 550 PS (404 kW) 830 Nm max. Torque (2.100 rpm)
  • Heckdiffusor Sichtcarbon with fins
  • Underbody extension
  • Sport spring set for lowering the vehicle by 30 mm
  • Front brake system 6-piston calipers with highly efficient pads (potted 390mm brake discs, steel-flex brake lines, racing brake fluid Castrol SFR (can only be driven with at least 19-inch rims with the corresponding H dimension on the front)
  • Alloy wheels in 8,5 × 20 inches (10 × 20)
  • Tires 235 / 30R20 front 275 / 25R20 rear
  • Trunk spoiler lip visible carbon
  • Carbon interior
  • Sport steering wheel
  • Aluminum pedals
