It has been over half a year now that we have the first drafts shown how the tuner VITT Squalo imagines a design body kit for the large Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe of the type C217. All in all, the drawings weren't really a surprise because the whole body kit clearly had the style of the already known and typically Japanese R230 & R231 (SL) as well as the W222 (S-Class) Versions. Now the body kit is available and VITT shows us a Mercedes S550 Coupe that can carry this (the first photo story already existed HERE). And what can I say, despite the excessively large rear spoiler and the usual eye-catching LED daytime running lights in the front bumper, the whole thing doesn't even look sooooooo bad. The thick, flared cheeks are filled with large Vitt GRADO alloy wheels, in the rear 12.5jx 21 inches and in the front also 21 inches. Ok - we know that the Japanese can also be discreet since then Wald International Mercedes S-Class Coupe "Black Bison", but also the sledgehammer variant of VITT has something like me!
After the tuning cure that the coupe was allowed to endure, it is unmistakably clearly modified and worlds more brutal than the production version. If you are thinking of buying a C217 Coupe in the future or already own one, VITT Squalo is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. As far as the changes made to the optics or the technology are concerned, we have already learned the first details. As usual, we have listed what we know below in a summary.
