For the Lotus emira, who at the same time (unfortunately) the last Lotus with a combustion engine and street legal, there is now one Sports exhaust system from Milltek. The Emira is factory-equipped with either a 3,5-liter V6 supercharger from Toyota or a 2,0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine from Mercedes-AMG. For us, of course, the six-wheeler in combination with the optional manual transmission is the better choice. And for that the British company has Milltek Sport brought a performance sports exhaust system onto the market. It is machined from aircraft quality T304L stainless steel and utilizes the factory mounting points. There is a flap control and the complete system is based on the OPF.
Milltek sports exhaust system for the time being for the V6
If you want, you can even get an optional bypass pipe for the particle filter, which allows the V6 to really develop its soundscape. Furthermore, even a titanium version is in preparation, which should weigh between 6 and 7 kilograms less than the production version. And soon there will also be a slightly modified version for the 2,0-liter turbo engine from Mercedes-AMG. According to our information, the Milltek exhaust system is without a certificate and therefore not approved in the area of the StVZO. Photo credit: Milltek Sport LTD.
