As we all know, the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R is a true JDM icon that is loved and revered by GT-R and especially JDM enthusiasts around the world. It was never officially sold in the USA, but the states' 25-year rule makes it possible to drive a GT-R there, as this example from Florida shows. The GT-R was recently featured in an episode of Hoonigan AutoFocus and has been rebuilt quite well. You can immediately see a lot of modifications, but the original look is retained. The elegant Bayside Blue paintwork is particularly striking. The color was not actually offered for the R32 GT-R Skyline, it comes from it from the later R34. But the paintwork also fits perfectly with the lines of the R32. Especially in combination with the white painted Rays Motorsport rims.
Single turbo on the 2,6 liter six cylinder
And then there was the engine under the hood. A lot of money was invested here, because the 2,6-liter six-cylinder (RB26) has now installed a single large turbo instead of the bi-turbocharger. In combination with a lot of other changes, the engine now produces an impressive 550 HP on the wheel. The engine power should be somewhere in the range of 620 HP. And the GT-R can even switch between four-wheel drive for maximum traction and rear-wheel drive. There should be the right opportunity for every situation. On the body there was a new front bumper, a carbon hood, a new rear wing with carbon flap and a powerful diffuser is also installed. In the cabin there are the mandatory Recaro sports seats, a small sports steering wheel and various additional displays for performance monitoring as well as a digital ECU master instrument cluster.
