The NOVITEC portfolio has also included refined versions of McLaren sports cars for some time. From now on there is also an exclusive performance program for the long-tail model 600LT. As you know, performance can never be enough, and so the German tuner for the eight-cylinder twin-turbo offers different performance levels up to 506 kW / 688 PS. This catapults the two-seater in just 2,8 seconds on Tempo 100 and reaches a top speed of 333 km / h. The matching exciting background noise is provided by a tailor-made NOVITEC sports exhaust system. The appearance of the mid-engine car can be made even more athletic with a special trunk lid and a two-piece sight-carbon air box. In addition, the look can be made even more exciting with high-tech forged wheels in a unique combination of 20 and 21 inch-sized wheels developed by NOVITEC together with the American manufacturer Vossen.
NOVITEC McLaren 600LT
Adding even more dynamism to an exclusive sports car is NOVITEC's specialty. The 3,8 liter McLaren eight-cylinder four-valve engine with two turbochargers offers an excellent starting point for powerful tuning. The NOVITEC engine technicians developed three different performance kits for the 600LT which, as a special feature, deliver additional performance at the push of a button. The special maps for the two NOVITEC N-TRONIC modules can be activated and deactivated on the Active Dynamic Panel in the cockpit. The additional control units are adapted to the vehicle's electronic engine management using the plug & play method. In the strongest performance level 2, which also includes a NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system, 64,7 kW / 88 PS more peak power and a maximum torque of 92 Nm higher are achieved compared to the basic engine.
506 kW / 688 PS at 7 450 rpm and 712 Nm
The V8 with NOVITEC Tuning makes 506 kW / 688 PS at 7 450 rpm and produces maximum torque of 6 Nm on 250 712 tours! Of course, this also benefits the two-seater's performance: After just 2,8 seconds, the tuned 600LT is already fast at 100 km / h. The maximum speed increases to 333 km / h. On the road, the NOVITEC performance increase is positively reflected not only by the even higher performance, but also by an even more direct response and an even more powerful pulling power. As an ideal complement to engine tuning, NOVITEC offers a precisely tuned, high-performance stainless steel exhaust system for the McLaren 600LT. In order to keep the temperatures in the engine compartment as low as possible, the exhaust system is completely thermally insulated. In addition, the program includes lighter and more efficient metal catalysts.
NOVITEC MC3 forged wheels in the wheel arches
The sporty design of the 600LT can be made even more exciting with targeted modifications: The NOVITEC boot lid gives the sports car an even more aggressive face. The two-piece carbon airbox does not provide a thoroughbred racing look at the rear but also optimizes the fresh air supply of the engine. Of course, the new NOVITEC MC3 wheels, which are manufactured in state-of-the-art forging technology by American wheel manufacturer Vossen, also contribute to the spectacular look. With their seven filigree pairs of spokes, they offer an optimal symbiosis of lightweight construction and strength. The wheels are available in 72 different color options, optionally with brushed or polished surface. The NOVITEC wheels not only optimally fill the existing space in the wheel arches of the 600LT.
Interior fittings in the finest leather and Alcantara
Due to the mix of diameters of different sizes at the front and rear, the wedge shape of the car is emphasized even more. On the front axle 8.5Jx20 wheels are driven with 235 / 30 ZR 20 Pirelli P Zero high performance tires. Rear 305 / 30 ZR 21 tires are used on 11.5Jx21 rims. A further increase in driving dynamics can be achieved with the installation of NOVITEC sports springs, which lower the two-seater by about 30 millimeters. Another focus of the NOVITEC refining program is the interior. These include masterfully crafted interior finishes in the finest leather and Alcantara in every desired color.
