Can you still remember the spectacular 790PS Mansory 4XX Siracusa based on the new Ferrari 488 GTB remember? A good year ago, the German tuner presented his view of the 488 to the public, and the design and the enormous increase in performance were immediately convincing. MANSORY has now presented the open version of the SIRACUSA in Geneva for the motor show, which also comes with an enormous 790 hp and enables the driving experience without a roof. The Ferrari 488 Spider is also the heart of the SIRACUSA and so that this spectacular body design is created, the complete refinement is carried out by MANSORY. The revision in the best manufacturing quality was of course also carried out in the interior, the wheels and the engine. In the 4XX there is of course also the unit with a 3,9 liter displacement, just like the closed version with optimized engine management. The exhaust system was of course specially adapted to this. The combination creates an output of 581 kW and 790 hp at 8000 revolutions per minute. Equipped in this way, the eight-cylinder only needs a breathtaking 0 seconds from 100 to 2,9 km / h and that is of course also thanks to the torque of 870 Newton meters at 3000 revolutions per minute.
By the way, the series takes 3,0 seconds! Compared to the series, which is already extreme at 330 km / h, a top speed of 341 km / h is now achieved! Once again more than the already extremely fast base vehicle. The built-in chassis components in the SIRACUSA are of course specially tailored to the increased engine performance. With the 4 progressively wound lowering springs, the vehicle's center of gravity can be lowered by twenty millimeters compared to the series, which also improves the look. And the inside is also significantly modified, because MANSORY has created an exclusive control center that perfectly combines comfort and functionality. The center console control unit was designed for this purpose and there is even a leather-carbon combination for the sports steering wheel. The interior of the SIRACUSA exudes pure luxury because all components are covered with high quality leather and set off with colored seams. The interior finish is rounded off with the 4XX logo on the door sill strips or the floor mats and the seats. As mentioned, the body design has also been completely redesigned. Striking air inlets in the new front apron optimize the fresh air flow for the radiator. The front lip has been specially developed and provides improved downforce for even more traction in the border area. The new daytime running lights are as bright as day, so there is even a plus in terms of passive safety.
The MANSORY signature is also visible on the front fenders, on the carbon rearview mirror housing and on the striking side sills. Function and appearance go hand in hand here. Compared to the standard parts, the carbon components are of course much lighter and serve their purpose as an air control unit and an eye-catcher. The double rear spoiler and the integrated diffuser of the rear apron are also responsible for the ideal guiding effect of the air flow and are also unmistakably developed by Mansory. For the performance, and of course improved optics, there are also ultra-light aluminum rims. The wheels were elaborately forged, which means they are extremely lightweight and extremely stable. Thanks to the reduction in unsprung masses, the new wheel / tire combination reacts with even greater agility and every steering command is implemented extremely precisely, even under the highest loads. Incidentally, the front rims are fitted with tires in 255/30 and 9 × 20 inches wide and at the rear with tires in 325/25 format including 12 × 21 inch rims.
