He is a legend of motorsport: the Audi S1 Pikes Peak! International racing celebrities have been meeting in the US state of Colorado for decades to complete the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. It is one of the largest and best-known motorsport events in the United States. The 4301 m high mountain in the Rocky Mountains warns with dramatic slopes not to make any mistakes. Audi first showed in 1984 with a Rallye quattro Sport and Michèle Mouton at the wheel what the S1 is capable of. Almost from a standing start, they ended up in second place in the overall ranking. Audi was there again just 2 year later. Driver Michèle Mouton made it from the valley to the summit in just 1:11:25 minutes in a Sport quattro. In 39 the American Bobby Unser even set a new course record at Pikes Peak with an Audi Sport quattro S1986. It only took 1: 11 minutes for the distance.

And in 1987 Audi won again! And to remember the legendary time Abimelec design the distinctive Pikes Peak Quattro look from the 1980s has now been updated to a current RS6 Avant. But there was not just a paint job in the Audi Motorsport colors (Alpine white L90E light, stone gray / aral blue RAL 7030 / VW L L7D, blood orange / orange RAL 2002 / VW L P2 / 00A) on the sides and over the center of the vehicle, but also a modified body. The RS6 is widened once again and there was also a large gill-shaped air opening for the bonnet, an extended roof spoiler and a carbon front spoiler lip as well as a carbon rear diffuser. Another highlight is the wheel set painted in the vehicle color. It is based on the Audi Motorsport wheelset from the Audi quattro S1 Pikes Peak.

The choice fell on the classic Rotiform ROC rim in 22 inches, which is covered with Toyo Proxes R888 semislicks. Thanks to a precisely fitting lowering, the new gear train sits in the wheel arch with millimeter precision. And Abimelec design also installs many carbon details such as the trim between the taillights. There are also the side ones Rear windows fins made of carbon and parts of the radiator grille as well as the horizontal struts in the air openings in the front apron are made of carbon fiber. In addition, a few Bosch stickers on the headlights, an Audi badge on the doors and at the rear, the classic one sits enthroned four Lettering. A very successful rendering as we think that may even be the template for a conversion for some. Have fun looking at the pictures and stay true to us!
