The German Roding Automobile GmbH was founded 2008 in Roding and manufactures carbon lightweight sports cars in small series. The specialists also develop and produce component prototypes made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). At the international automobile exhibition 2009 the concept study of the first own development, the Roding Roadster, officially presented. Production in series started 2012. To meet the current desire for more environmental protection, launched various development projects on the subject of electric cars. Nothing has yet been presented here, so production, if any, will take place in the distant future. However, Roding can already draw on practical experience: The Roding Roadster Electric was used to develop a research vehicle for Siemens Corporate Technologies. The flagship, the Roding Roadster, we now also in vehicle tuning more popular, so there are already some tuning companies in Germany, which can significantly improve these sports cars in appearance and in performance. However, the first professional tuning workshop is located in Switzerland, where the company has its headquarters DÄHLer Design & Technik GmbH recognized the potential at an early stage and handed over dozens of improved Roding Roadsters to their customers.
