Range Rover recently signed a three-year partnership with Deer Valley Resort in Utah, USA. To mark the milestone, the British off-road vehicle manufacturer is now launching an exclusive special edition called Range Rover Sport Deer Valley Edition limited to just 20 pieces and only available for purchase in the United States. As a small incentive, buyers of the edition will receive two sets of Hinterland custom skis. Additionally, $5.000 of the $165.000 purchase price will go to the Youth Sports Alliance, an organization that provides after-school programs for high school students in Park City, Utah. In addition, the 20 buyers will receive a three-day stay at the Deer Valley Resort and two ski passes each, which are also valid for three days. But now we would like to introduce you to the Range Rover Sport Deer Valley Edition.
Exclusive special edition
The vehicle is based on the Range Rover Sport Autobiography P530 V8. However, the special model is always painted in the exclusive Deep Gloss Vermillion Red color and includes black decorative elements all around. The gigantic 23-inch alloy wheels from the SV Bespoke series also shine with a dark gray finish and carbon accents. In addition, there is a roof box for skis and other utensils for the model, which according to Range Rover has unique features and is attached using special roof rails from Land Rover accessories.
Special features in the interior!
The exclusivity also continues seamlessly in the cockpit. Grey-black leather seats and forged carbon inserts from the SV Bespoke program adorn the interior. There are also Deer Valley Edition door sills and a very special cup holder cover, autographed by former skiing superstars Lindsey Vonn and Ted Ligety.
A 4,4-liter V8 biturbo petrol engine drives the colossus!
In order to achieve the same acceleration values as in downhill skiing, the Deer Valley Edition is powered by a V8 biturbo petrol engine that provides a strong 530 hp and a massive 749 Newton meters of maximum torque. In no less than 4,3 seconds, the noble Briton sprints to 100 km/h and the top speed only ends at an electronically limited 250. The power is transmitted permanently to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
