This is what a “Restomod” project should look like in the end! The Miami-based tuner "The FJ Company" built this copy in the chic light olive (6L4) as a tribute to the Toyota FJ45 Troopy and created an absolutely unique piece. A vehicle that originated in 1981 and has been completely restored. In addition, the Land Cruiser is also equipped with countless contemporary components. The basis was a G45 right-hand drive and the suffix "S" should indicate that it is a charged variant. But let's get to the body first. It shows itself with OEM emblems, screws and hooks and the factory grille. At the same time, however, there is also a FJCO Signature bumper with fog lights from Baja Designs, a Warn 8274 cable winch, FJCO Signature mirror, a new bonnet with air vents and 16-inch EvoCorse DAKAR wheels on 285/75/16 Mud-Terrain All -Terrain® tires on display.

The classic tank cap was removed in the course of the conversion and replaced by a CNC-milled aluminum screw variant. And by the way, they also made a four-door with hardtop out of the body. But the highlight is under the hood. A 228 HP "Toyota 1GR-FE" engine with Magnuson Supercharger compressor is now working here, which enables an additional 90 HP. You can hear it at any time thanks to a specially made stainless steel sports exhaust system with BORLA® ProXS silencer, even in the steppes. The new engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission (H150F) and new differential locks at the front and rear bring the power to the four driven wheels. And typically Restomod, a modern anti-lock braking system (ABS), large disc brakes at the front, improved power steering and a new chassis with KING® shock absorbers could not be missing. And of course we have also devoted extensive attention to the cabin.
RECARO® Specialist front seats
The most important details here are a completely new leather interior in classic brown, there were RECARO® Specialist seats in the front, floor mats specially made for this vehicle, a steering wheel in the 80s style of the Signature series and also all the switches and buttons and the pedals show themselves in a signature look! And also in technical terms, the cabin has been given everything important to keep up with the times. First and foremost would be the Alpine infotainment system with touchscreen and Apple CarPlay, but there was also a new signature sound system, LED interior lighting from Baja Designs and even a digital instrument cluster is installed. You don't have to do without nice details like a rear view camera and even vintage-Air® air conditioning with new ventilation slots in the dashboard. An extremely impressive vehicle that remains true to the style of the time, but at the same time was made technically fit for the present.
