From the company Smith Vehicle Engineering was known to be that last year Smit Oletha Coupé with naturally aspirated V8 presented. And now there's a "entry level". And with a six-cylinder under the long hood. Visually, you can't really see that in the Oletha compared to its big brother. The variant with six pots also has the clearly redesigned cover of the BMW Z4 Coupé (E86), with a front based on the Z8 (E52). Just now with two less cylinders under the hood. Only the Power Dome on the hood is missing compared to the V8. Specifically, Smit Vehicle Engineering (SVE) relies on the freely aspirated high-speed motor from M GmbH, which we all call S54B32 know. So it is the legendary engine from the M3 (E46), the Z4 M Roadster (E85) and Coupé (E86). However, the S54 is no longer series, but enjoys a clear more efficient than the 343 PS & 365 NM as in the M3. The company brings from that to 3,4-liter increased displacement (Series: 3.246 cc) namely full 400 PS.

Furthermore, the engine should be up to maximum 8.000 revolutions per minute can turn and due to the built-in Airbox made of carbon, a fascinating engine sound is guaranteed. Incidentally, the engine is always connected to a manual one Six-speed manual coupled. In terms of weight, the variant with a six-cylinder loses almost 50 kilograms compared to the V8, so that only almost 1.360 kilograms have to be moved. As with the eight-cylinder, the little brother should also have a perfect weight distribution from 50 to 50 own. However, Smit Vehicle Engineering has not yet published any further details on the performance. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
