The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 is the ideal basis for an off-road camper. With a ground clearance that is about 15 centimeters more ex works and standard all-wheel drive (4matic), the Stuttgart space miracle navigates seemingly effortlessly over any terrain and also offers plenty of storage space for people and equipment. On the one hand, the all-wheel drive Sprinter is a robust workhorse for use on construction sites, on the other hand it is a good basis for building off-road motorhomes that like to travel off the beaten track. VANSPORTS.DE therefore saw no urgent need for technical improvements in the Sprinter 4×4 319 CDI presented here. Instead, they emphasized the robust, sporty character of the Sprinter 4×4 with a mixture of styling parts and accessories from their own range.

A WILDBOAR front apron was attached to the front end, which reinforces the rustic charm of the four-wheel drive sprinter with large air inlets, integrated LED fog lights with cornering lights and a matt black protector paint finish. The design continues on the sides with WILDBOAR fender attachments at the front and rear, which are also dipped in the robust protector paint. In preparation for the planned expansion of the Sprinter 4×4 319 CDI camper van, which is powered by a 190 hp turbo diesel, WILDBOAR side extensions were installed on the left and right, which will later enable a transverse bed construction with a lying surface length of around 2,05 meters. Sliding windows in the left side wall and in the right sliding door also provide fresh air.

The VANSPORTS underrun protection is not only an attractive accessory, but also functionally efficient. It protects the engine, the transfer case and the rear axle differential from stones and light impacts if the ground clearance in the outback should not be sufficient. Incidentally, VANSPORTS.DE has mounted matt black KIRUNA 1 heavy-duty aluminum rims in size 8×18 inches on the axles, whose BFGoodrich All Terrain tires in size 265/60R18 offer optimal traction even on loose gravel or muddy ground.
