Everyone is talking about the VW Bus T7 (2020)! The VW T6.1 facelift (2019) has only just been launched, but you want to know more about the VW T7 Multivan in the forums. There are quite a few Erlkönigen that have been spotted, but so far only under the shell of the T6. But that had changed earlier in the week. Erlkönig hunters managed to photograph a camouflaged T7. It showed itself with small glass sections on the A-pillars, a more inclined windshield and new headlights with LED technology. At the back there were horizontal taillights with LEDs and with high probability this vehicle was already on the new MQB platform which the new Caddy also uses. However, the team from Star Performance GmbH in Hilden shows us that the current T6 is by no means old.
306 HP and 480 NM are clear
They have refined a T6 2.0 TSI 4MOTION with 204 PS and 350 NM torque, the turbo four-cylinder now produces an impressive 306 PS and 480 NM. A remarkable leap in performance, the tuner by means of chip tuning software, upgrade turbocharger and modified down pipes reached. The gearbox software and shift times have also been adjusted and something has even changed optically. The T6 has been lowered a bit with the KW Variant 3 coilover kit and the wheel arches are now filled with mbDESIGN KV1 alloy wheels in 9 × 20 inch format with 255 / 35R20 tires.
