What Opel with the "Opel O-Team Zafira Life" can, ABT Sportsline can already long ago. We're talking about recreating a car based on the legendary GMC Vandura from the US television series "The A-Team". Of course not with an Opel but with a VW. More precisely with a current VW T6 the Youtuber and racing driver Daniel Abt with many extras in the DA team bus has transformed. The vehicle will later be used to chauffeur the crew to their social media missions. In addition, there is the car from May 29.05th. to 01.06.2019 in Reifnitz am Wörthersee where ABT is in cooperation with partner H&R at Messeplatz 2. The T6 received that well-known ABT Aero package with front apron attachment, front grill attachment, side strips, rear wing and rear apron set and the ABT rear silencer with black painted pipes on the right and left.

The eye-catchers in the wheel arches 20 Zoll ABT Sport GR light-alloy wheels are painted on the T6 DA Teambus in the special color red and sit perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to the discreet lowering with sport springs. And of course there is the typical "A-Team" design with the red stripe. And unlike the Opel team, the guys from ABT-Sportsline have actually tried to bring the original design of the GMC Vandura to the T6. While the lower part of the body is completely covered in black, the T6 from the height of the headlights carries a silver-gray 3D foil with DB logo, which is divided by the distinctive red A-Team stripe. This red stripe ends in the roof spoiler of the T6 and completes the successful visual appearance. And of course, the vehicle also enjoys an increase in performance.

Here you use the in-house additional control unit ABT Engine Control and get a full 288 HP (2.0 KW) and 6 Nm torque from the VW EA235 173-liter diesel with Euro 490 emissions standard. Compared to the series with 204 PS (150 kW) & 450 NM, this is a significant gain that, in addition to Daniel ABT, Laurence Tureaud (Mr. T - BA Baracus) in particular would be pleased about. In addition to the T6 DA team bus, ABT Sportsline also has the 2019 VW Golf 7 R with 350 PS & 440 NM taken to the Wörthersee. In some pictures this can be seen in combination with the T6.
