I bet most of you would be happy if you only had 30% of the equipment options of the 2017 Brabus Business Lounge Mercedes V-Class W447 in your living room or in your apartment in general! Brabus completed the new Brabus Business Lounge just in time for the Geneva Motor Show and we have compiled all the information for you. As already mentioned, the basis is the current W447 series and before we get to the spectacular interior, we would like to tell you the changes on the outside and the performance. The V-Class got a BRABUS body modification that is very discreet, but still unmistakable, and brings the typical style to the luxurious bus. At the front there are attachments for the side air inlets and a front spoiler, and there are also significant changes at the rear, with the rear apron being provided with a three-part panel and a diffuser-look center section. The whole thing is visually underlined with a high-quality BRABUS stainless steel sports exhaust system and of course the well-known Brabus light alloy wheels should not be missing.
Four different designs are available here in 18 or 19 inches and the whole thing is equipped with high-performance tires in the format 255/40 ZR 19. And more power is now available because an increase in performance of the V 250d using the PowerXtra D4 performance kit is offered and so the increases Output by +33 kW / 45 PS & 70 Nm torque to 173 kW / 235 PS over 500 Newton meters. So equipped, the colossus can do it in 8,8 seconds to 100 km / h and only at a brisk 210 km / h does the V-Class reach its top speed. But now to the interior ... 😱 An absolute highlight that ensures the necessary privacy is definitely the partition wall with an integrated 40 inch TV set which separates the driver's compartment from the passenger area. And the most important components are definitely the electrically continuously adjustable seats with sitting and lying positions (VIPBusiness seats) which even have an electrically retractable and extendable footrest and of course can be heated and cooled and also offer a massage function.
Electrically extendable assistance seats are also installed for short-term rides. Equipped with the best from a technical point of view, the BRABUS infotainment system with BRABUS MEDIA CENTER and BRABUS CLOUD provides the option of using smartphones, tablets and notebooks regardless of platform. There is also a media player and an LTE high-speed Internet router for constant access to the Internet. If you want, you can also use streaming or gaming applications because Apple TV or a Sony PlayStation 4 Pro are also included. The whole thing is networked via the BRABUS TOUCH CONTROL PANEL, which enables the vehicle interior to be controlled using a central touchpad. Other spectacular highlights are an integrated refrigerator, a coffee machine, a chic bar compartment or the hot / cold cup holders. And while there used to be curtains on the windows, the interior of the W447 can be protected from unwanted looks by means of BRABUS MAGIC GLASS.
The system makes it possible to make the windows of the V-Class in the passenger area opaque at the push of a button and so not to grant a view from the outside. And if you are used to reading a book from home before you fall asleep, you can do so in the V-Class because the headliner even features integrated LED reading lights. Other highlights such as a BRABUS SAFE-BOX, which can only be opened by entering a code, or an environment camera system that has everything in view are further features of the BRABUS BUSINESS LOUNGE 2017 and should further underpin its unique claim.
