She is one of the absolute stars of the JDM scene and advanced through the film series "Fast and Furious“A cult car. The Toyota Supra has become an indispensable part of the tuning scene and enjoys great popularity worldwide. Recently, a well-preserved example of a 1990 Supra sold for over $ 250.000, and series production items in particular are as hard to find as the proverbial needle in a haystack. That is why their increase in value is exorbitant, and even copies with a higher mileage can quickly cost over 40.000 euros. For a Everyday car from the 1990s, that's an extremely high price in our eyes. The tuner and owner of this Supra, Tyler Graff, did a completely different thing, as he bought the Supra in 2011 at the age of 22 for only $ 8000. He's got a real bargain, which has now been converted into a veritable dragstrip monster. Incidentally, Tyler Graff was born to screw cars into the cradle, since his father is the owner of Lowell Auto Body in Westminster, Colorado. So it's not surprising that the father and son duo set out to modify this $ 8000 Supra into a very special treasure.

Widebody and GT rear wing

On the car was a TRD widebody kit Installed with a special bonnet that has four ventilation slots. In addition, a Ridox front bumper and a trial rear bumper were installed. Above all, the new bumper at the front, which comes with a carbon spoiler lip, looks extremely sporty in our eyes. The large rear wing, which goes by the name of Top Secret GT2, also polarizes a lot, as some celebrate it while others detest it. Incidentally, the Supra rolls on CCW 505 A rims, which have a diameter of 19 inches on the front axle and a diameter of 20 inches on the rear axle. At the front there are 285/35 R19 tires, while the rear tires are 345/25 R20. Such a tire specification also suggests that the car will be suitable for Quarter mile race designed, but also makes a powerful impression in normal traffic. The Supra from 1993 would cut an extremely good figure at every JDM scene meeting in this country and make the hearts of fans beat faster.

A lot of work was done in the interior.

The interior was also modified very specifically for racing, as the duo around Tyler Graff and his father installed status racing bucket seats with harness belts and a roll cage, for example. In addition, carbon applications found their way into the dashboard and a sports steering wheel made of carbon and Alcantara was installed. The newly added automatic selector lever is based on the selector levers and gears of the drift car scene, and looks a bit like an airplane's thrust regulator. Last but not least, there was also an e-brake electronic parking brake the way to the Supra, which was equipped with a three-stage automatic (!!!) specially designed for quarter mile races in order to accelerate as quickly as possible.

The engine was equipped with a turbocharger.

This rapid acceleration is also achieved thanks to the 3-liter in-line six-cylinder, which, with the help of a turbocharger, generates around 400 hp on the rear wheels when it is driven with 10 psi boost pressure. The Garrett loader was retrofitted because the standard unit is actually a pure vacuum cleaner, which only produces 220 hp and 286 Newton meters of maximum torque. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the current torque, but it should be well over 700 Newton meters. This guarantees driving performance at super sports car level, because the modifications in the interior have also put the Supra on a diet, so that it certainly has a fabulous power-to-weight ratio.

Unfortunately a unique piece that is not for sale!

If you got wet eyes when looking at the show car, you will surely be disappointed that owner Tyler Graff will probably never sell his sweetheart. After all, he and his father created a piece of jewelry from a rust arbor for $ 8000 that turns the heads of all car fans around the world.
