2019 - TVR Sagaris rises from the dead as a car kit

The TVR Sagaris was the last hurray for the Russian TVR of the 2000 years before the beloved British sports car company died. In contrast to today's company, which produces the impressive Griffith, TVR has made a name for itself in the past primarily for the poor quality of the vehicles. That makes replicating these cars, like the 2005 Sagaris, pretty easy. Even so simple, a company now offers a brand-new, self-assembled Sagaris in kit form.

Fortunately, TVR is back, and the Sagaris too.

Grex Automotive has given the Sagaris preference. Now his name is Sagaris GT (although we're not sure how much actual "grand touring" you bring into the GT). The model remains true to the original as it literally has no driving aids - no traction control, no ABS, not even airbags are included in the car kit. The kit is available in 14 individual expansion stages so that the owner can build it at his own pace. However, buying all parts individually as opposed to a complete kit will undoubtedly drive up the shipping costs massively. The first four stages include the chassis and body, followed by steering parts, brakes and suspension, cooling, all electrical parts, lights, windows, wheels and finally the interior - configurable as left or right-hand drive.

TVR Sagaris Car Kit without engine

What about the engine? Quite simply, Grex will not deliver. The kit is designed to accommodate the box V8 from General Motors as opposed to the inline six of the original. However, if you are already paying a bit more then Grex will be pleased to adapt the kit for other types of engines. If you want a TVR Sagaris kit, you should not waste time. Grex only produces 2019 kits in 10. Since these are completely legal in the US, demand is higher than originally expected. According to various information in the network is reported that the kit 58.070 $ will cost, which corresponds to about 49.500 EUR.

This makes the car kit cheaper than the original, but it does not include the engine, transmission and other components required for construction. The last original TVR Sagaris left the factory in 2005 at a price of £ 49.995 - at today's exchange rate, that's almost EUR 55.600. So, let's go! If you're looking to build a dangerous, poorly built, British sports car from the 2000s, today is your lucky day! If we receive more information about the car kit in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
