But what if autonomous driving becomes an autonomous nightmare? Anyone buying a full-featured car these days should be prepared to be surrounded by blinking lights, buzzing buttons, and self-acting braking and shifting systems that do not always go the way the driver wants.
3) start / stop at each traffic light
Introduced to reduce gas mileage, the automatic engine off-and-on systems are, of course, environmentally friendly and, of course, we really do not want to say anything. Promised. But: Can not the automakers please make a little more effort to make these systems a little less annoying? For some manufacturers, it feels like the car is stalling at every traffic light. It's not a thing to perfect, is it?
4) whispering cars
No of course we don't mean cars that whisper. But it would also be worth an idea. We mean cars that are quiet - too quiet. Of course, it is nice to be able to simply block out traffic and engine noises like in a soundproof chamber. But hearing whether the engine is running or not would still be nice. In connection with the quiet and smooth running motors of the new generation, this is no longer that easy.
5) WiFi for the car
Many car manufacturers now offer mobile internet services. You can use this, for example, with a game console for the backbanks and maybe we will even eventually find a full-fledged slot machine in the car. But especially services that offer the driver immediate help, such as gas station search, are increasingly in demand and are the focus of development. Actually, that's a good idea. But if you take a closer look, it quickly becomes clear: somehow the whole thing is a waste of money. Because the WiFi services for mobile surfing are free only in the first and second year after the purchase of the car. Then it is time to reach into your pocket.
