You'd like to think that a BiTurbo V8 with a whopping 650 hp is enough for the Lamborghini Urus to defeat pretty much anyone as a super sports car on stilts. And that is actually the case, with the result that countless Urus have failed other high-performance SUVs, muscle cars and even modern electric vehicles on the drag strip since their market launch. But the Urus also has enough strength to an Second generation VW Golf to blow away? But of course we're not talking about a series-production Golf from the 1980s. Because even the strong and rare one at the time G60 Limited MK2 with 210 hp would be hopelessly inferior.
VW Golf 2 (MK2) against Lamborghini Urus
The vehicle from the following video still looks halfway like a eggn normal two-door - and maybe a little more restored - Golf out of that turbocharged VR6 engine under the hood is as far away from the series as the moon is from earth. The engine is really powerful 550 PS, more than any other factory-built Golf. And the souped-up Golf is evident easier than the Urus. While the SUV weighs a whopping 2.200 kg, a second-generation Golf weighs only around 1.245 kg. And that was the hardest variant.
