Hard to believe but this vehicle can actually be called "old model" describe! Of course, the term “old” may have been chosen a little unfortunate, considering the fact that Audi will be launching the successor A19 Sportback C2017 on October 7, 8 in the new Audi Design Studio in Ingolstadt (internal type designation 4K) but it is a fact! The market launch will take place at the end of February 2018 and by then the A7 C7 generation will have to put up with this fact. Incidentally, the new generation also includes new model designations such as "7 TFSI" in the A55.

The numbers replace the cubic capacity specifications and the goal is to create a globally uniform designation for combus- tors, hybrids and electric models. For those who have never heard of it, we have a small listing:

  • 30 = Vehicles with 81 to 96 KW
  • 35 = Vehicles with 110 to 120 KW
  • 50 = vehicles with 210 KW
  • 55 = vehicles with 250 KW
  • 60 = vehicles with 320 KW
  • 70 = vehicles with 400 KW

But now to the current vehicle that simply omits a type designation completely. It is an Audi A7 Sportback V6 TFSI with a significant lowering, and a new set of wheels was equipped. More information about lowering was unfortunately not known, but we assume that the owner relies on a particularly deep coilover suspension. In the wheelset, he decided for CG-210T forged wheels from the house Vossen Wheels the front and rear 21 x 10,5 inch format measure.

The wheel set comes with a polished surface and sits thanks to the extreme lowering to the last millimeter in the wheel arch. We have not noticed any other optical changes and more is not necessary at all. Under the hood, there was still an APR intake system that should bring one or the other additional horsepower and the project at the current time concludes. If we get more details about further changes, there is of course an update for this story. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to.
