Yesterday there was on the Facebook timeline of the rim label Vossen Wheels to see a chic VW Golf MK5 R32 which of course we don't want to withhold from you. The top model of the MK5 series came from the factory in August 2005 with 250 PS & 320 NM and accelerated the HotHatch in just 6,2 seconds (with DSG) to 100 km / h and up to a top speed of 250 km / h.
Visually, there were only discreet differences over the series such as a revised front bumper, R32 emblems and the striking centrally located sports exhaust system with its two large tailpipes. The owner of this specimen, however, wanted to make his R32 appear much more present and decided to partially wrap the body (Checkered flag design etc.) as well as a wheel set from Vossen Wheels.
The type VWS1 with matt gray painted rim star and golden / copper-colored rim beds was installed here thanks to a, unknown, lowering (possibly an ATP suspension) sits perfectly in the wheel arch. At the moment we are not aware of any details regarding the dimensions of the alloy wheels, but we assume that it is 19 Zöller.
If you look closely, you will also see a modified brake system and so an Audi RS system with perforated brake discs front and rear brings the R32 to a safe stop. And we also noticed a change at the rear. The R32 was given blue-burned tailpipes and it is very likely that these belong to a complete stainless steel sports exhaust system.
Apart from the wheelset, all other changes are only on the basis of the pictures so we do not guarantee that they are correct. If we get more details, there is of course an update for this story.
