Actually, you can call the now third generation of the Lexus IS (XE3, since 2013) as a really discreet and restrained vehicle. No design experiments on the body and in the interior, it is simple and objective. But that a body kit, a shrill paint job as well as a new wheel set can do the complete opposite from the Japanese middle-class sedan we would like to show you with this bright yellow copy. The vehicle was put on its feet by the tuner Eastside Motoring (Boston, Massachusetts, USA) and have for the new look to the factory paint in yellow or a set of red alloy wheels from the house Vossen Wheels installed.
It is the type CG-207 which fills the wheel arches in the dimensions 19 × 9 inches on the front axle and 19 × 10,5 inches at the rear, also thanks to a significant lowering using Accuair Airride air suspension. The painting of the rims aims to harmonize with the interior, which is also in red. Because inside, too, the Japanese has a lot of red accents in the form of a red leather interior, a steering wheel with red inlays and other self-attached details.
In general, the interior has received a lot of modifications because a large number of various cup holders with leather applications give rise to the style of a cocktail bar. And there was also a lot more outside than the new wheelset. Here a body kit was installed that consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, a striking rear diffuser and a spoiler lip on the tailgate. In addition, the entire trunk is equipped with a sound system and various LEDs, as well as the compressed air tank of the Airride air suspension, are housed in the trunk.
Further changes are yellow painted brake calipers, slotted brake discs front & rear, darkened taillights, a roof spoiler, a yellow painted Lexus emblem in front, Lexus emblem on the rear removed, no chrome on the vehicle and various "Importfest" stickers. The overall result certainly takes getting used to and is not necessarily to everyone's taste, but it should be clear that a lot of money and effort has been invested here.
