Widebody BMW M3 (E36) is wider than a GTR vehicle!

Hard to believe, but the BMW 3 Series E36 generation has been around for an incredible 32 years! And if you put an E36 next to a current M3, you might think that the G80 should be a seven. Crazy how extreme the dimensions get out of hand with each generation. Even if you equip an E36 with a body kit, it still looks delicate compared to a standard G80 or G82 (M3/M4). So things have changed a lot since the mid-90s. Not so this vehicle from LTO (Live To Offend). The tuner tried to adjust the dimensions accordingly by developing a widebody kit. And this one was designed by Khyzyl Saleem and inspired by the M3 GTR race car. The vehicle featured in the images was built by Mush Karkhi and is now on display at SEMA 2022 in Las Vegas. It runs until tomorrow and so the XXL coupe can be admired for almost two more days.

Incidentally, the conversion is based on a 1995 BMW M3. Few body panels remain unchanged, making the M3 look like it came straight off the track. The front bumper retains the standard rectangular air intakes, but is now joined by a large front splitter that almost touches the ground. It continues with a bonnet with air vents, there were extremely wide fender attachments with integrated gills and enlarged side skirts also contribute to the racing car look. Everything is accentuated with a beautiful retro finish in the BMW M colors. And the M3 also got many changes at the rear. A large wing with an adjustable fin is installed, there was a diffuser and a cover for the rear window. Interestingly, the standard twin tailpipes are still there.

the rear is also significantly different

The kit is rounded off with special stickers for the 50th anniversary of BMW M. And then there would be the three-piece GTR wheel set with central locking, which is equipped with Toyo tires, as well as the fact that something also happens under the hood. The 3,2-liter straight-six S52 is tuned and supposedly delivers 450 hp with regular petrol and up to 600 hp with E85 fuel. The project is rounded off with an extreme lowering (Airlift-Airride) and a modified interior. The widebody kit is sold by LTO between 4.950 and 7.450 US dollars depending on the configuration and material. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
