2024 KTM SX-E 2: A top-class electric ride for kids!

So there it is – that one 2024 KTM SX-E 2! For everyone who has been waiting for a long time for an intermediate package between mini bikes and motorcycles, there is now reason to celebrate. After the performances of the KTM SX-E 5 and SX-E brings KTM with the brand new SX-E something really cool on the market. And the design? With the modern and eye-catching graphics, the SX-E 2 is a real eye-catcher. The absolute highlight is this Center tube aluminum extruded frame, which not only provides a cool look but also reduces the number of components required. This ensures fewer connections and attachment points and thus a perfectly balanced chassis.

The subframe Made of glass fiber reinforced plastic composite not only gives the bike a feather-light feel, but also a Shock absorption. And, under the seat? That's where someone works 1.8 kW hub motor, which is made with a water-resistant IP65 9.4 Ah lithium-ion battery is paired. Sounds like technology? It is! This means the bike can easily reach a top speed of 33 km/h (20,5 miles per hour). And best of all: the engine doesn't need one Chain or sprockets, which keeps the weight down and ensures greater safety in the event of an accident. Next is the one battery change a piece of cake. Simply take out the old one, put in the new one, and the journey continues!

And the charging time of the KTM SX-E 2?

Using an external charger takes time to charge up to 60% just 100 Minutes. And no savings were made on the spring elements either: one WP hydraulic fork front and a hydraulic Monoshock rear ensure a buttery smooth ride. A special safety feature is the haptic “vibration”, which signals to the rider that the bike is ready to go. A Rollover sensor also ensures that the power supply is available in the event of an accident is immediately interrupted. With an MSRP of EUR 2.084 (approx. $2.199), the KTM SX-E 2 Not a bargain, but worth every cent. So if you're looking for the ultimate electric experience for your child, you should grab it!

  • Suspension: Front: WP hydraulic fork with 90 mm travel. Rear: Adjustable 34mm shock with 70mm travel.
  • Bench: Adjustable between 470 and 500 mm Seat height.
  • Bikes: Lightweight 10-inch aluminum HPDC wheels in black with KENDA tires.
  • brakes: 140mm radial hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. Adjustable hand levers.
  • Safety: Tilt sensor, emergency stop switch with bracelet, activation of the electric motor by turning the throttle grip forward.
  • Instrument cluster: Illuminated, shows driving mode and battery charge.
  • Additional characteristics: Illuminated instrument cluster, various driving modes, wristband emergency stop switch.
  • Positioning: Ideal entry-level bike that offers the feeling of a “big” bike.
