KTM SX-E 2023 balance bikes
The entry-level model KTM SX-E 1.12, is perfect for the youngest bikers who are making their first experiences on two wheels. It weighs only 7,7 kg, so it is easy to move, both for the little ones and the adults. With a 330mm high seat, aluminum frame and 12" pneumatic tires, this bike offers a fantastic way to practice balance.
The motor is powered by an easily removable, industrial grade 20V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2 Ah powered, which supplies enough energy for 30 to 60 minutes of driving pleasure. With three speed settings, the bike can go from a beginner's speed of 8 km/h to an impressive speed of 14 km/h be controlled in advanced mode.
KTM SX-E 1.16: For the slightly older kids
The KTM SX-E 1.16 is the next level for young bikers between the ages of four and eight who weigh up to 35 kg. With its high-performance motor that offers more torque at lower speeds, this bike allows for stronger acceleration and improved control. A 20V lithium-ion battery with 4 Ah supplies the bike with energy for different performance levels, up to a maximum speed of 20 km/h in advanced mode. And with a weight of only 9 kg and 16 inch pneumatic tires, the SX-E 1.16 is ready to drive on even more adventurous terrain.
KTM SX-E 1.20: The mini crosser of the future
The top model KTM SX-E 1.20, is designed for the real mini motorcrossers. With a brushless 36V motor and a top speed of 32 km/h this bike is ready to tackle tougher terrain. It features a MANITOU J-unit fork with 80mm of travel and an aluminum frame for better control and stability. With a weight of almost 15 kg and three power levels, it is the perfect bike for children between 10 and 12 years old who weigh up to 52 kg.
Depending on the selected mode, speeds of 16 km/h in training mode up to 32 km/h can be achieved in full power mode. Run time varies depending on power setting and terrain, but is typically between 30 and 60 minutes with a three hour charge. The KTM SX-E e-wheel series is the perfect way for young riders to discover their passion for motorsport. Not only do you learn how to keep your balance and how to use the throttle, you also prepare for the transition to larger bikes. Who knows, maybe the next Jeffrey Herlings is already there?
