Introducing the Honda FORZA 350 model year 2022!

The Forza name has long been of great importance to Honda's two-wheeler portfolio. The history of the premium mid-range scooter, which combines sporty and tour-friendly qualities, began in 2000 with a height of 300 cm3 Displacement. The very first model impressed with refreshing driving pleasure, plenty of storage space and a combination brake system. Thanks to its multifunctionality, the medium-sized Gran Tourismo scooter has proven itself particularly in everyday use. The Forza 350 was very well received in Europe.

The facelift for 2004 included an immobilizer as theft protection, an electronic PGM-FI injection and a storage space extension for two full-face helmets under the seat.

In 2008 a luxurious audio package, an improved S-MATIC power transmission and an ABS combination braking system upgraded the equipment. In 2016 a new "sit-in" design was introduced, which thanks to improved wind and weather protection made more driving comfort possible, even in two-person operation.

Introducing the Honda FORZA 350 model year 2022!

A better equipped, lighter, more compact and sportier version of the Forza 2018 followed in 300 with an electrically adjustable windshield, new instruments, LED lighting technology and - for the first time on a Honda scooter - safety-enhancing HSTC traction control.

The next step was the increase in displacement and Euro 2021 conformity in 5. The Forza 350 presented itself stronger, more environmentally friendly, more practical and convinced with a high style factor. Technically, the Forza 350 from the 2022 year presents itself unchanged. A new color variant provides fresh appeal.

  1. Model overview

With an output of 21,6 kW (29,4 hp) and a maximum torque of 31,9 Nm, the engine of the Forza 350 impresses across the entire speed range and offers crisp acceleration. The top speed is 137 km / h.

In addition to the engine with 330 cm3 Cubic capacity and Euro 5 have provided cosmetic and aerodynamic updates to bodywork and mirrors since last year for a slim overall appearance and more premium appeal. The chassis is enhanced by a lighter aluminum swing arm, and the windscreen allows an extended adjustment range. The instrument panel offers the option of connecting to a smartphone via an optional voice control system via Bluetooth. A USB Type-C socket allows convenient charging, and there is space for two full-face helmets in the storage compartment under the seat. The Forza 350, model year 2022, is available in five colors:

  • Mat Carnelian Red Metallic ** NEW **
  • Matte Pearl Pacific Blue
  • Pearl cool white
  • Matt Cynos Gray Metallic
  • Pearl Falcon Grey
  1. Equipment features

3.1 Styling & equipment

  • Electric windshield with 180 mm adjustment range
  • Storage space for two full-face helmets, practical USB charging socket
  • Smartkey control for the ignition and the 45 liter smart topcase
  • Emergency braking function warns other road users

The electrically adjustable windshield has a 180 mm adjustment range and is designed in such a way that the air flow is directed over the driver. The design of the Forza 350 is geared towards aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency and conveys sporty dynamism. The modern design language is expressed by a surround below the headlight, revised side panels with striking Z-lines and a steeply sloping edge of the rear side panels.

Two full-face helmets can be stowed under the seat. If necessary, the storage space can also be subdivided so that you can carry a helmet plus a rain cover or a bag. There is space for a mobile phone or a water bottle in the lockable storage compartment in the front leg room. A USB charging socket is standard on board. The lighting of the Forza 350 is provided by LED components all around.

To ensure connectivity (for music, telephony, etc.), Honda's smartphone voice control system is optionally available for the Forza 350. A helmet with a headset is required for this, the smartphone can then be connected via Bluetooth. The smartphone system is operated using voice commands or handlebar switches.

The smartkey technology activates the rotary ignition switch and locks / unlocks the seat as well as the 45 liter smart topcase. The Forza 350's turn signals have an emergency brake signal function. As soon as the ABS control unit detects sudden braking, the hazard warning lights flash at an increased frequency to warn other road users.

The cockpit is equipped with analog speedometers and tachometers, in between is a digital display that can be switched between three modes: 1) odometer, remaining range and current consumption, 2) trip meter, average consumption and timer, and 3) ambient temperature and battery sensor.

3.2 Engine

  • 330 cm3-Motor, 29 (4 kW), 21,6 Nm max.torque
  • Smart Power + technology, consumption of just 3,3 liters per 100 km
  • Meets the Euro 5 standard

The particularly economical Smart Power + engine of the Forza 350 helps to protect the environment. The peak output of the SOHC four-valve injection engine with 330 cubic centimeters displacement is 29,4 PS (21,6 kW) at 7.500 rpm, the maximum torque 32 Nm at 5.250 rpm and the top speed 137 km / h. From a standing start, the Forza 350 sprints through the 200 meter mark in 10,4 seconds when accelerating.

The bore is 77 mm in combination with a 70,7 mm stroke, the compression 10,5: 1. Roller rocker arms and plain bearings help to keep friction losses as low as possible. The internal friction is reduced by an offset cylinder (offset by 5 mm), a hydraulic chain tensioner and an oil suction pump. A balance shaft reduces vibrations and contributes to a pleasant driving experience.

For internal cooling, an oil jet sprays onto the piston crown from below (as in the competition motocrosser CRF450R), which helps improve performance and longevity. The oil volume is 1,7 liters. A 36 mm throttle valve housing draws the intake air from a 5,5 liter airbox. The silencer is constructed with two separate chambers in order to reduce the exhaust gas resistance.

The automatic centrifugal clutch makes handling the Forza 350 problem-free, just turn the throttle and let go. The engine is equipped with HSTC traction control (Honda Selectable Torque Control). The system compares the revolutions of the front and rear wheels, calculates the slip ratio and regulates the engine torque accordingly via the PGM-FI fuel injection. This prevents a slipping rear wheel and loss of grip. A T symbol will flicker when the system is working. The traction control can also be switched off using a switch on the handlebar

The engine complies with the Euro 5 emissions standard. Low consumption (3,3 l per 100 km) and 11,5 liter tank capacity enable a range of 340 km.

3.3 chassis

  • Short wheelbase with steering geometry for agile handling
  • Compact dimensions and comfortable seat height
  • Cast aluminum wheels, 14 inches at the front and 15 inches at the rear

A tubular steel frame forms the backbone of the Forza 350 and enables safe road holding, which helps build a lot of confidence. The wheelbase is 1.510 mm, the steering head angle 26,5 ° and the caster 89 mm. The cooler is placed in front of the fuel tank for efficient cooling and mass-centralized weight distribution. The battery is located between the tank and the storage compartment under the seat, which also helps to maintain a good balance. The weight with a full tank is 184 kg.

The seat height is 780 mm, the upright sitting position promotes a perfect all-round view. The handlebar width is 755 mm, the width of the front section 580 mm and the mirror width 860 mm. Compact dimensions make driving in the city area easier. A 33 mm telescopic fork is supplemented by two rear shock absorbers, the spring preload of which can be adjusted in seven stages. The rear swing arm is made of aluminum.

A 15 inch front wheel takes care of the leading work. The rear wheel is 14 inches. A 256 mm single disc with double-piston brake caliper decelerates on the front wheel, the rear wheel brakes the 240 mm brake disc equipped with a single-piston caliper. The 2-channel ABS makes it easier to brake safely, even if the road surface should prove to be more slippery than expected.
