Visual update for Honda CB650R & CBR650R (2023)

Since the market launch in 2019, the Honda CB650R Neo Sports Café and its sister model, the CBR650R, have successfully held their own in the European mid-range sales hit lists. Both shine with inspiring four-cylinder driving dynamics, easy handling, modern design and extensive equipment such as 41 mm Showa SFF-BP upside down forks, HSTC traction control, assist/anti-hopping clutch and LCD cockpit display. The bare CB650R was Honda's best-selling motorcycle in Europe in 2021 and is second in the 2022 sales charts to the Africa Twin. For model year 2023, the middleweight of the Neo Sports Café family will not only be available in Candy Chromosphere Red and Mat Jeans Blue Metallic, but also in two completely new colors – Matt Dim Gray Metallic and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic. The latter maximizes the "stealth" look, with blacked-out details including the cylinder head cover, engine case side covers, fork stanchions, side covers, levers and footpegs.

The faired CBR650R was the best-selling sports bike in Europe in 2021. This is still available in the color variants Grand Prix Red and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic, but has new graphics for the 2023 model year, and the engine housing side covers and cylinder head cover are now colored black. The Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic paint dress also features new blue accents on the tank, tail and fairing, as well as a red shock absorber spring. The Grand Prix Red machine features a new black front fender and a now black lower fairing with red Honda lettering. The shock absorber spring has also been repainted in red to harmoniously support the desirable overall appearance down to the last detail.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
