An electric touch of luxury: Metorbike Café Racer Moped!

Who would have thought that electric mobility could be so classy? A unique mix of recycling materials, high quality Wood and most modern Technology promises a special driving experience. The Metorbike is based on a charmingly curved frame Puch AX 40, which brings a touch of retro charm. But instead of the formerly 3 hp two-stroke engine, an electric motor now provides propulsion, which comes along stylishly in the design of a combustion engine. With a continuous performance of 2,72 PS and maximum 9,5 PS the moped accelerates proudly 49,5 km/h.

But that is only the beginning. Inside the tank, which only serves as a dummy, are the battery cells hidden. These come from old VW batteries and ensure a range of around 60 kilometers in the E-Moepd. After 3 to 4 hours they are also fully charged and ready for the next tour. But the Metorbike has another ace up its sleeve. The Hamburgers have their own body of sound developed that simulates the typical driving noise of a combustion engine. With six different sounds, from Spaceship to the V8 engine, and the appropriate background noise when recuperating, driving fun is guaranteed not to be neglected. Surprisingly, there is even a "Exhaust jet". If you hold your hand under the outlet opening, you can feel a powerful blast of air when the loudspeaker's membrane is working.

The digital dashboard is elegant in the polished fork bridge embedded and enables intuitive operation via Touchscreen. The start of the Metorbike is very modern with a chip card, and while the journey begins with V8 sound or futuristic spaceship sounds, erleuchtet the logo on the tank. Noble milled Switch and an optional quilted saddle goatskin, the one Oak or mahogany backrest covered, complete the luxurious driving experience. And if the noble e-moped gets lost, someone will help GPS tracker in the search.

Exclusivity meets sustainability

For 8.500 EUR, included sound generator, the luxury toy may not be a bargain, but it is certainly worth considering for lovers of the noble and special. Although the concept of a 50 with only 2,8 hp and a top speed of 49,5 km/h is not exactly revolutionary, the Metorbike is a unique mixture of luxury and sustainability.
