Bad times for tuners and especially fans of Airride air suspension! While the whole world is almost waiting to be allowed to go out again, and you actually think it could not get any worse, the American manufacturer AccuAir is now announcing to close the company. Is it really COVID-19, as the team claims? We do not know it! The fact is: a provider disappears from the market that has always stood for progress and innovation in terms of airride systems. As of now save new products made more! Accuair has shared the info on the in-house Instagram page and so we can probably make up for a late April fool's joke.
Are payments made lost?
The decision was apparently made by the investors and not by Reno or the crew themselves. At least that's how the posting comes across! And it probably goes so far that pending orders or payments are lost and, if at all, only returned to customers by an insolvency court. BUT IT IS NOT SAFE! After 18 years in which AccuAir impressed with air suspension products, it is now up to Ridetech, AirLift, Flo, Slam Specialties or Level Ride to develop new products.
Of course that had not happened yet!
