Brigade AI safety technology at the IAA Transportation 2022

Brigade Elektronik GmbH will present its range of innovative fleet security systems at the IAA Transportation 2022 in September, including the new camera solution with artificial intelligence, CAREYE® Safety Angle turning assistant. The CAREYE® Safety Angle turning assistant uses artificial intelligence (AI) to recognize pedestrians, cyclists or objects. Warnings are given either actively by an audible signal and a red warning light when a person or object is actually at risk of collision, or passively by a yellow warning light if e.g. B. removes a person or an object from the danger zone. This drastically reduces false alarms. In the summer of 2021, CAREYE® was also the clear test winner of the ADAC, the largest traffic club in Europe. In the ADAC test, the system demonstrated its optimal performance and was able to assert itself against other, similar vehicle safety systems on the market. The ADAC praised the test winner CAREYE® in particular for the reliable avoidance of false warnings, the clear and understandable visual feedback to the driver and the fast reaction time when recognizing people and objects.

"The sophisticated, precise algorithm of the CAREYE® AI makes false warnings practically impossible and gives the driver maximum safety when maneuvering the vehicle," commented John Osmant, Managing Director of Brigade Elektronik GmbH. “The system is able to differentiate between cars, trucks, pedestrians, cyclists and static objects such as trees and bollards. Movement and expected direction are then calculated, giving the system the highest level of reliability.” Alongside CAREYE®, Brigade will also be showcasing its market-leading 360-degree Backeye®360 camera, IP cameras and its range of remote fleet management solutions – external and internal cameras, mobile digital recorders and the BRIDGE cloud service. Brigade Electronics will showcase its range of fleet security systems at IAA Transportation 2022 from September 20th to 25th at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. You will find Brigade at booth B45, hall 13.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
