Mercedes tuner Posaidon has for the upcoming Essen Motor Show (01.12.-09.12.2018, Previewday Tomorrow at 30.11.2018) an absolute highlight planned. The company will present the first multi-part full carbon rim called "POSAIDON Evolution One" to the world public. The performance specialists at Stand C33 in Hall 7 have put many hours of development into the Evolution One and will be showing the 20-inch (8,5 and 11,5-inch) wheel with a variable bolt circle and offset in Essen. The two-part carbon wheel is delivered with a new type of central lock and therefore the bolt circle and the offset are extremely variable. The 8,5 x 20 inch rim impresses with a weight of only 4,9 kilograms and the highlight is the maximum load of 1.500 kg.

The surface finish of the Evolution One is glossy or matt clear lacquered, it can be colored with a glaze or even completely painted. The rim comes with an integral structure structure and even offers the possibility to read the structure print with a special smartphone app. This is made possible by an RFID sensor that sends its data via NFC standard to the smartphone. If the rim is damaged by an extreme pothole, it will be displayed graphically on the app. The Impact indicator gives the driver the opportunity to see if the rim is still fit to drive or not. Small hook of the whole: With a price of 2.499 € per piece, the high-end bike is anything but cheap
