Forget the E63s of Mcchip-DKR, Wheelsandmore, Wetterauer and even BRABUS -> POSAIDON is currently the measure of all things! As is well known, the phenomenal M63 DE213AL-V177 BiTurbo works under the slightly curved bonnet of the top model of the E-Class - E40s AMG Type W8. It is slowly but surely being installed in almost every larger Mercedes series and replaces, for example, the M 157 DE 55 AL-V8 from the pre-facelift S63 AMG W222. The engine delivers at least 571 hp and, as the "S" model in the E63, even a brilliant 612 hp. The tuners linked above have long since proven that this is far from over. But even the 800 PS & 1.000 NM torque of the BRABUS 800 is easy to outbid is new to us. But Posaidon proves just that with the E63 RS 830 + shown here impressively.
As is typical for Posaidon, the focus is less on changes in terms of optics, but rather on the highest possible output. Using in-house chip tuning software and modified hardware components, Posaidon puts an E63s on its feet with 880 PS and electronically limited 1.200 NM torque, which is currently the most powerful W213 model known to us. The heart of the modifications are in-house upgrade turbochargers which, in combination with a revised charge air cooling, optimized downpipes (new exhaust system from turbocharger with sport catalytic converters), Sports air filter and a new intake air kit enable this exorbitant jump in performance.
Of course, the transmission does not remain untouched either and so the automatic receives various reinforcements and electronics that are matched to them. There were also new differential locks for the front and rear axles that can easily handle the torque. The result is an insane top speed of 358 km / h, which means that the opponents on the highway are suddenly called Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 or Apollo N. Incidentally, the increase in performance is not only available for the E-Class but for every model with an M177 engine (e.g. G63 or S63 AMG). As already mentioned, Posaidon has optically restrained and leaves the E-Class in the standard trim.
However, almost every cross has been made from the factory since the presentation vehicle comes with numerous carbon components such as the front splitter, the rear spoiler lip and a sporty diffuser insert. And also the wheelset is series. Elegant AMG forged wheels in the dimensions 9,5 × 20 inches ET25 front and 10 × 20 inches ET55 rear which are equipped with slippers in the format 265 / 35 ZR20 and 295 / 30 ZR20 are now installed.
