However, whether this criminal offense exists depends on the circumstances of the individual case and must be decided by the court. However, insurance companies usually have a clear answer to the question of whether you can drive a car with an arm cast: No. In the event of an accident, they may not cover the full cost if the driver was driving with a disability. Insurance companies are convinced that drivers who drive with an arm cast - regardless of whether the vehicle is manual or automatic - act with gross negligence.
Similar to driving under the influence of alcohol or with a mobile phone to the ear, the driver is complicity attributed to the traffic accident if he acts with gross negligence. Such an action can result in either your own comprehensive insurance or the liability insurance of the person who caused the accident not covering the damage to your vehicle or only partially covering it.
