From visible carbon aerodynamics to a sports exhaust system: The premium tuner BRABUS now offers an exclusive refinement program for the Porsche 911 Turbo S of the current 992 model series - as a cabriolet and coupé. When it comes to tires, BRABUS relies, among other things, on the high-performance SportContact 7 tires from Continental with an exclusive approval of 340 km/h V/max.

Maximum speed thanks to high performance from Continental

820 horsepower and 950 Nm - the BRABUS 820 based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S accelerates from 2,5 to 0 km/h in just 100 seconds. The top speed of the high-performance, luxury-class supercar is electronically limited to 340 km/h. These high demands require tires that can withstand the centrifugal forces and support such a performance, which is why the SportContact 7 from Continental was specifically approved for the BRABUS 820 up to this speed. The high-performance tire with BlackChili compound offers driving fun at the highest level and stable handling on wet and dry roads. The summer tires are fitted in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 on the front axle and 335/25 ZR 22 on the rear. Thanks to the forged Monoblock Z "PLATINUM EDITION" wheels from BRABUS in different dimensions, the wedge shape of the sports car is also reinforced.

Testing for BRABUS Masterpiece promises

Before the new BRABUS 820 based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupé was approved for road use, the quality and functionality of the supercar was tested under the direction of BRABUS CTO Jörn Gander with Porsche Supercup driver Lance David Arnold behind the wheel. A wide variety of elements, such as handling or tire behavior, were evaluated and validated at the Meppen Race Park from a performance perspective. "In close cooperation with BRABUS, we have given the SportContact 7 a V/max approval of 340 km/h especially for this vehicle.

The vehicle behaved efficiently on the tight course with our tires and achieved outstanding results in all categories,” reports Michael Schneider, head of tuning at Continental. Further information about the testing and the BRABUS 820 in action is available on the tuners' YouTube channel. Sports car fans can also expect more impressions at the exclusive BRABUS Tuning Day on August 20, 2022 at the Contidrom, Continental's test track. Photo credit: Brabus
