The team around Smyth Performance has specialized in converting almost all common passenger cars into Utes using "DIY car to truck conversion kits". This is possible either directly on site in Tiverton (in the English county of Devon) or conveniently at home. Because the kits can also be delivered to your home on request and can be implemented there yourself. The program is constantly being expanded and is currently (as of April 04.2022) available for the VW New Beetle, the Dodge Charger, the VW Jetta/Golf, the Jeep Cherokee, the Subaru Impreza and the Audi A4. The Ute conversions based on the New Beetle are particularly popular with Smyth Performance. It will be interesting to see what other vehicles will follow.
