Zelectric Motors is a company based in San Diego, California. It offers conversions of classic VW and Porsche models to full-fledged electric cars. As of 2020, we are dealing with vehicles such as the VW Beetle, the VW Bulli, the Karmann Ghia but also a VW Type 181 (popular name: VW Kübelwagen) or one Porsche 911, 912, 356 and 914 have already been converted to modern electrical engineering. The finished e-oldtimers cover around 160 kilometers with one charge and the performance should easily double compared to the original drive. It is very likely that we will see many more vehicles from Zelectric Motors in the next few years.
