It wasn't long ago that Audi presented the revised RS 3 Sportback and the new RS 3 sedan with TT RS engine. But 400 PS & 460 NM torque are apparently not enough for the guys from ABT Sportsline. For the upcoming Essen Motor Show (from December 02.12nd - December 10.12.2017th, 3), the Allgäu-based company is launching both the Sportback and the limousine in modified versions. ABT publishes some details in advance. So if you don't want to wait any longer for even more power and improved brakes, you can now equip your RS400 with special accessories from ABT Sportsline. The highlight is of course the increase in performance. The factory 294 PS (460 kW) are pushed to a brilliant 339 PS (XNUMX kW) with the first power level "ABT Power".
The performance increase is designed so that the specially developed and adapted engine control unit no increased wear or fuel consumption is measurable. And who knows ABT knows that visually always something to expect. Currently, the tuner brings its own ABT suspension springs and ABT sports stabilizers, which make the RS 3 with 2,5-liter inline five-cylinder stick to the performance increase literally on the road. But if that's not enough, you can order a coilover kit soon, but it's still in development right now. In order to be able to consistently reduce the additional power when needed, the ABT Brake Upgrade Kit is available which comes with red painted calipers.
Further details are not yet available. Optionally, 19 or 20 inch rims are available in the ABT DR, ER-C, ER-F or FR design, and the interior remains untouched. Upon request, the tuner can deliver various refinements in carbon, ABT branded door entry lighting, a noble gear knob plaque and a new start-stop button. Outside there is already a shiny black rear skirt set consisting of tailpipe shaft and an ABT silencer system with two 102-mm double tubes in matt black. If that's not enough for you, ABT has the ABT RS 3 as a complete vehicle at the Essen Motor Show.
He is currently on tuning cure and should be equipped with the strong performance level ABT Power R. We think the 520 + are in the realm of possibility and make the RS3, due to the performance weight, suddenly the opponent of BMW M5 and Audi RS6. The look of the ABT RS 3 will once again stand out with a whole range of aerodynamic additions and interior finishes. Already it is certain that a front lip attachment, a front grille attachment with RS 3 logo, the above-mentioned rear skirt set and finishes will come in the interior.
And the ABT RS 3 complete vehicle will not lack an improved suspension, brake upgrade kit and new rims. As soon as the time comes, you will of course first learn it.
