The new supersport sedans from Alfa Romeo, based on the designation Julia GTA respectively Giulia GTAm listen, have long since sold out, and have already achieved cult status. All 500 copies built have already been brought to the man or woman, and the reactions to the vehicles on the internet are also overwhelming. The ailing traditional brand Alfa Romeo has not had such a positive response to one of its new releases for a long time. And if the models weren't strictly limited, you could sell a lot more of them, which would, however, affect their exclusivity. But not only from the Giulia, but also from one of its predecessors, namely the Alfa 156, there is a sports version called GTA.
Optics in the tradition of sporty Alfas
The German tuner and Alfisti Simon Wegner figured that it was only logical if you turned an Alfa 156 GTA into a one-off GTAm version because it best embodies the motorsport spirit of an Alfa Romeo. There was also a factory prototype of one GTAm of the Alfa Romeo 156, which never got beyond the development stage.
The old" GTAm However, it inspired tuner Simon to his one-of-a-kind project, which we are now introducing to you in more detail. In contrast to the Giulia GTAm, the body largely dispenses with wide fenders, sills and a huge rear spoiler, making it look discreet and chic. One could assume that it is a conventional Alfa Romeo 156 GTA if it weren't for that 18-inch alloy wheels by OZ with the name Alleggerita, to the Tires in the format 255/40 R18 by Michelin. The tires are Pilot Sport Cup 2-semislickswhich are specially designed for use on the racetrack.
Behind the nine-spoke rims with a glossy black finish, there are golden lacquered rims calipersthat become a Brembo brakes that ensures that the sporty Italian comes to a safe standstill in all situations. At the Suspension come in addition Eibach stabilizers are used, which enable better handling on the racetrack.
Empty interior with motorsport ingredients!

Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the maximum torque, but due to the lack of supercharging, it shouldn't be overwhelming. The performance is still at a high level, because the curb weight of the stripped Alfas is roughly at only 1,4 tons. The power is transmitted via a Six-speed manual on the front wheels.
