He's always been one E28 BMW 5 Series among the most beautiful BMW vehicles ever built. And with a little tuning is the E28 even more enviable. The best example is the vehicle from the video. This is guaranteed not to be an ordinary 5 Series of the second generation, but an absolute one-of-a-kind. The basis for the conversion was a 535i from 1986, which had an M30 six-cylinder engine under the hood. The 2,8-liter made about 180 hp. But the straight-six was removed to make room in the engine compartment for a larger, more powerful unit. Since the conversion, the heart of the E28 has been a V8 from the 5-generation E34 with the designation M60. But the classic limo has much more to offer, because something has really happened optically too. The 5 Series has received subtle upgrades, most notably the cool one cats stairs on the rear window and the 17 inch BBS rims.

Since the conversion, the front and rear have been adorned with European aprons and the deep black one E28 has also received a set of Euro headlights as well as chrome exterior mirrors. The latter originate, as far as we know, from the predecessor, the 5er E12 There were a few chrome details, a rear spoiler and the discreetly drawn wheel arches round off the external appearance of the sporty sedan.
