They are chic, the aerodynamic parts of CarverMANHART & Co. The guys at the rim manufacturer are now showing us that you can do without it Z-Performance Wheels, They have modified a completely black M5 of the current F90 series and completely dispensed with a comprehensive BodyKit. The highlight of the renovation is the new one ZP.Forged 17 Deep Concave Wheelset in 20 Zoll, which elegantly fills the wheel arches with elegant multi-spoke optics and in combination with a significant lowering. The wheelset is indeed not Painted in black, the dark rim star in matt gunmetal gray and the brushed black painted rim beds are one of the darkest color combinations available for the new forged wheel. Nevertheless, the ZP.Forged Deep Concave Alus in this combination set something like a “color accent”.

The copper-colored brake calipers of the large M5 brake system with their perforated pizza plate brake discs have a slightly loosening effect. Incidentally, the exact dimensions of the wheelset are 10 × 20 inches with ET17 at the front and 11 × 20 inches with ET18 at the rear. The multi-part deep concave rim with its invisible hidden hardware screw connection was covered with Continental tires in the format 275 / 30R20 on the front and 285 / 30R20 on the rear axle. Of course, the built-in KW Variant 5 coilover kit also plays a major role in the new aggressiveness of the M4. It comes with rebound damping as well as a high and low speed adjustable compression stage and is only available for selected vehicles such as the M5. It not only ensures more sportiness and dynamism on the road, the lowering of the M5's body is particularly eye-catching due to the lowering.

The headlights are 80% darkened by means of foiling

The rest of the changes are just small details. There were black kidneys & gills, 80% darkened headlights front and rear (by means of foiling - prohibited in Germany) as well as a black BMW emblem on the hood and the tailgate. In addition, a transparent X-Peel Vollfolierung all around. The video below shows you the M5 in series status, We are pretty sure that we will also soon see a first movie of the modified version. If it happens, there is of course as always an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.

News from 25.01.2019

Z-Performance has further modified the M5. And with new pictures in wintry surroundings we are now allowed to participate. Already known are the two-piece ZP.FORGED 17 Deep Concave rims with invisibly bolted "hidden hardware" and also the lowering by means of KW variant 4 coilover suspension. New is the small carbon upgrade. The Munich got from RKP composites a sporty spoiler lip for the M-bumper front and a small spoiler lip and a sporty aggressive diffuser for the rear.

Incidentally, the two components come from the M Performance range and are therefore OEM. The following video shows the M5 though without the new carbon aerodynamic parts, but with the FI EXHAUST exhaust system. In combination with new Downpipes and the chic carbon tailpipes, it provides, in addition to a violent soundscape, even for a small performance plus.

Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
