That the tuner EAS (stands for European Auto Source) one of the tuners for BMW vehicles of any kind is not really new. After good 90 BMW vehicles on tuningblog.eu this M5 is the first one that EAS has really trimmed for performance. We have already seen one or the other chip tuning, but we do not yet know a complete compressor conversion from EAS. The guys have just published the project, but unfortunately without giving any technical data. We hope they will follow soon! As I said, a BMW E60 M5 V10 was used as the base vehicle for the tuning and, in addition to some visual changes, a fat ESS Tuning VT2-650 Supercharger compressor kit was missed. We know that this can increase the performance of the V10 engine up to 800PS and think that this M5 has been trimmed in this direction. After the tuning cure that the M5 was allowed to endure, it is now much more exciting, more individual and also more dynamic than the production version and should even be unattainable for the successor M5 F10 in production state. Anyone who is thinking of buying an M5 V10 in the future or already owns one for that is EAS (in Germany more G-Power) definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. As for the changes made to the optics or the technology, we have already learned the first details. As usual, we have listed what we know below in a summary.
