Mercedes-Benz is currently more popular than ever! The models from Stuttgart are becoming increasingly popular, especially among younger car fans. But the star shines brighter not only in Germany, but worldwide, and can keep its competitors from BMW and Audi at a distance when it comes to sales in many regions of the world. This is particularly the case in China, where the model we are presenting is making its rounds, which is guaranteed to draw everyone's attention in Germany, too, because it looks subtle and professionally tuned.
AMG style on the C200L amazes.
On closer inspection, this C-Class, which at first glance is an AMG, turns out to be a perfectly disguised fake pack, because it is equipped with an orange flip-flop film, which changes its color nuances a little depending on the incidence of light Mercedes, just a long version of a C200, which was specially developed for the Chinese market and is produced in cooperation with Beijing Automotive (BAIC) in the joint venture known as Beijing-Benz. The specimen was pretted up with an AMG grill, an airlift air suspension, which can be lowered so far that the somewhat shrill, but highly professionally refined Benz mutates into an asphalt milling machine. The 18-inch BBS-style, which (typically China) of course CAN'T from BBS, as there is no indication on the rims, they look very classic and elegant and give the C-Class that certain something. Thus, the long version of the C-Class, which is 10 cm longer than the standard model to create more legroom in the rear, can score with many tuning fans and would also cut an excellent figure at every tuning meeting in Europe.
Interior almost completely in series condition
Except for the purple ambient lighting (can often even be set at the factory) and the remote control for the Airride chassis was not changed in the elegant and at the same time very modern-looking interior. In our opinion, this is not necessary at all, because the long C-Class version is fully equipped ex works and has all conceivable comfort features.
The engine remained unchanged.
As usual, the C200L, which we are presenting to you, drives a somewhat weak-breasted 1,5-liter turbo gasoline engine with just 156 hp, which has a maximum torque of 250 Newton meters. This makes the Mercedes, which has a nine-speed automatic called 9G-Tronic for power transmission, no moving dune, but with 9,4 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h it is not one of the fastest. After all, the top speed is a sufficient 221 km / h, which are irrelevant in China anyway. The question arises, as well as whether you want to cruise comfortably and comfortably with a long C-Class instead of chasing BMWs and Audis on the highway.
Professionally tuned Benz for all tuning fans.
This quite professionally modified specimen, which dates from 2019, shows that you can also make a C200L so that it becomes an absolute show car. In addition, even the smallest motorization is enough to conjure up burnouts and possibly donuts on the asphalt, as you can see in the photos, because the rear-wheel drive is of course installed in the C-Class as standard.
