The Unterschleißheim based team of ORZ GmbH & Co. KG has for the guys the NAP sport exhaust manufactory set up a converted Dodge Ram 1500 you need to see. The vehicle comes with the nickname "ORZ Vehicles Ram Requite" and of course a great reference to the owner on display. The Dutch team from BamSign has applied a dull black partial foil with an image of the NAP company logo on the flanks of the dark red painted body. But clearly there is much more that was changed on the American pickup. At the front, for example, there is the completely new steel bumper (4 mm thick metal) and the original radiator grille of the Rebel design. The body was also missed all around fender flares which of course have their reason.
The Ram was equipped with a Bawarrion Atrax wheelset in the dimensions 8,5 × 17 inches and an offset of ET12 and coarse BFGoodrich offroad tires. The widenings ensure that the tires are properly covered and that no flying stones hit behind-the-scenes vehicles. And also the chassis has not been left as standard but installed a complete suspension from AEV. It puts the bodywork 4 inches higher (about 10 cm) and makes the RAM even more powerful in combination with the new wheelset. So that you can climb the cabin of the Ami still bearable way built ORZ extendable running boards on the sides and an additional, fold-out kick at the rear.
We would also like to mention the built-in loading area bracket with rigid auxiliary headlights, which is, however, still in the prototype stage. In order to protect the underbody from damage in the field, there was also a four millimeter thick steel skid plate that is mounted directly under the front axle. And so that everything is correct and the correct speed is always displayed on the speedometer with the new wheel set, ORZ has a module for adjusting the speedometer and other parameters in its range. This is also built into the RAM and immediately performs the service according to the regulations. Incidentally, there have been no changes to the 5,7 liter HEMI-V8, but the almost 400 hp engine is now "more audible".
Because of course, a NAP sports exhaust system had to be installed. The service vehicle of the accessory manufacturer NAP got a stainless steel flap system with electronic flap and EC-test certificate missed. The system provides exactly the soundscape that one expects from such a powerful vehicle with thick V8. More details are currently not available for RAM 1500. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
